Hi Joellyn,
I assume you're working away on writing which is why I didn't see you at
11 today. That doesn't bother me. But I want to be sure you're not missing
any input. Overall, I still think the most important thing--especially
now!--is to write and produce a document for us to read. I read what you
gave me previously and had a few comments which boiled down to state
basics and be specific (when is a transitional object (design) NOT needed?
why? what is the inherent difference between books and digital media? how
is a "transitional object" experience different from a "mediated" one (if
there is one)).

But top of the list: that intro paragraph that flat-out says what this
thesis is about ("Graphic design is storytelling. It is the culture
telling stories about itself to itself. Design's role is that of the
"transitional object" which etc etc.")
